Three cafeteria workers at Cesar Chavez Middle School in Palmview were taken to the hospital, after a gas leak. The cafeteria has been closed off. Students remain in their classrooms.

Border Patrol agents are investigating a possible stash house north of Palmview. About 60 illegal immigrants were found. We’re working to gather more details.

Two people escaped authorities after a chase in Palmview. Police are still trying to figure out why the driver refused to stop.

A lockdown was ordered at Gonzalez Elementary (La Joya ISD) as a result of a police chase. We’re told shots were fired during the chase. No injuries have been reported.

We’re told the suspects will likely face charges for possession of marijuana and evading arrest.
