Weslaco police said Luis Armando Garza (aka Joker) stole a Dodge caravan at gunpoint Sunday. A woman and her children were inside the car at the time. The 30-year-old was taken to Hidalgo County jail. His bond was set at $100,000.

Weslaco police announced they have a suspect in the 1988 double murder that prompted the creation of the Weslaco Crime Stoppers. The 42-year-old suspect is in custody in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Investigators are working to extradite him to Texas.
